- RoyaleEscapeVillas.id Service Fees: Our service fees are generally non-refundable, as they cover the cost of facilitating the booking on our Platform.
- Time Zones: All cancellation deadlines are based on the local time zone of the villa.
Cancellation Policy Types
1. Flexible Policy Most Flexible
- Full Refund: Cancel up to 24 hours before check-in for full refund of nightly rate and cleaning fee.
- Less than 24 Hours: First night non-refundable. Cleaning fee refunded if no check-in.
- After Check-in: Remaining nights are non-refundable.
2. Moderate Policy Balanced
- Full Refund: Cancel up to 5 days before check-in for full refund of nightly rate and cleaning fee.
- Less than 5 Days: First night non-refundable, 50% refund for remaining nights. Cleaning fee refunded if no check-in.
- After Check-in: Remaining nights are non-refundable.
3. Strict Policy Limited Flexibility
- 50% Refund: Cancel up to 30 days before check-in for 50% refund of nightly rate. Cleaning fee refunded if no check-in.
- Less than 30 Days: No refund for nightly rate. Cleaning fee refunded if no check-in.
- After Check-in: Remaining nights are non-refundable.
4. Non-Refundable Policy No Refunds
- No Refund: Bookings are not eligible for any refund if canceled, regardless of timing. Often comes with discounted rates.

Important: Our service fees, charged to guests for using our Platform, are generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, even if the booking is canceled and a refund is issued by the host under their policy.
Extenuating Circumstances Policy
In certain unforeseen and unavoidable situations, our Extenuating Circumstances Policy may apply, potentially allowing for cancellations and refunds outside of the host's standard cancellation policy.
This typically covers events such as:
- Declared emergencies or epidemics
- Government travel restrictions
- Natural disasters impacting the destination
- Death or severe illness of a guest or immediate family member
Note: Guests must provide valid documentation to support claims under this policy. This policy does not cover foreseeable events or personal travel changes.
How to Cancel a Booking
- Log in to your RoyaleEscapeVillas.id account
- Navigate to "My Bookings" section
- Select the booking you wish to cancel
- Follow the cancellation prompts and confirm your decision
Refund Processing
Refund Details:
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for booking
- Processing time varies by bank/payment provider (typically 5-10 business days)
- You'll receive email confirmation once the refund is initiated
